About the wood: Olive trees are commercially important throughout the natural regions where they grow. There are several subspecies and hundreds of cultivars of Olea europaea, with each variety producing olives of different shapes, colors, etc. either for oil production or direct consumption (i.e., table olives).
Understanding the Wand Tiers
Our wand tier system takes inspiration from fantasy games like Dungeons and Dragons as a fun way for us to differentiate the amount of effort that goes in to making each wand. Higher tiered wands involve more effort and wear & tear on our tools. Typically they are harder woods or more complex designs. Lower tiers are still made with great care, but out of softer or less expensive wood.
